The Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented copies of his Letters of Credence at the Foreign Ministry of Jordan

Amman, July 10, 2024 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Talgat Shaldanbay presented copies of his Letters of Credence to the Secretary-General for Political and Diplomatic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan Majed Al-Qatarneh.

The interlocutors exchanged views on further developing and strengthening Kazakh-Jordanian cooperation in all areas of bilateral interaction, particularly in preparing for upcoming high-level and top-level events.

The sides also discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and Jordan's efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire and constantly deliver humanitarian aid to the enclave.

The Jordanian diplomat praised Kazakhstan's efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and its support of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

H.E. Ambassador Majed Al-Qatarneh congratulated H.E. Mr. Talgat Shaldanbay on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Jordan.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to continue close cooperation and agreed to maintain working contacts.
