Prospects for strengthening Kazakh-Jordanian educational cooperation were discussed in Amman

On March 4, 2020, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Amman Aidarbek Toumatov held a working meeting with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan Dr. Muhyieddeen Touq.

During the negotiations practical aspects of enhancing related cooperation between the two countries, including through student exchange, were considered.
In the context of the mutual desire of the two countries to continue expanding and deepening cooperation in this sphere, at the end of the meeting it was agreed to work out amendments and additions to the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of education and science, signed in 2006. This issue will be discussed in detail during the upcoming 5th meeting of the intergovernmental commission, scheduled for early April of this year in Amman.
