Preparations for the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions were discussed in Amman

On September 29, 2021, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Amman Aidarbek Toumatov met with the Director of the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (RIIFS) Dr. Renee Hattar.

During the meeting, the diplomat congratulated Dr.Hattar on her recent appointment to a new position and expressed hope for further strengthening the fruitful cooperation established with the Institute.

In this regard, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the development of interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue. In addition, the Ambassador briefed the Jordanian side about the policy of peace and harmony pursued by the Kazakhstan government in public and cultural life, as well as preparations for the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions to be held 2022.
