On May 19, 2021, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Amman Aidarbek Toumatov held a meeting with the Director of the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy Nassar Al-Habashneh.

  
  During the meeting prospects for establishing closer bilateral cooperation were discussed. In particular, it was agreed to work towards signing a bilateral MOU with the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as organizing a joint round table within the framework of celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the centennial of the establishment of the Jordanian state this year.
