Prospects for strengthening Kazakh-Jordanian educational cooperation were discussed in Amman

On May 5, 2021, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Amman Aidarbek Toumatov held a working meeting with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan Dr. Mohammad Khair Abo Qudeis.

During the negotiations practical aspects of strengthening and further building up bilateral cooperation in the field of education, including through student exchange.

In this context, the Jordanian side was informed that due to the suspension of the general license from the Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education (KazMUNO), the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been working on the issue of transferring all Jordanian students who previously studied at this educational institution to other specialized universities, including the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.Asfendiyarov.
