Amman, October 18, 2025 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan presented a national pavilion at the 61st Annual International Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, which was held in the Al-Hussein Youth City.
The event was held under the auspices of the Mabarrat Um Al-Hussein Institute, one of Jordan's oldest charitable organizations, founded in 1958 by the late Queen Zein Al-Sharaf and now headed by Princess Basma Bint Talal.
The fair was attended by representatives of numerous foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom, as well as hundreds of guests and residents of Amman.
At the Kazakhstan stand, styled after a traditional Kazakh Yurt, Princess Basma was welcomed by Ambassador H.E. Mr.Talgat Shaldanbay and Embassy staff. Princess Basma viewed the pavilion's exhibition and highly praised its content and artistic design.
The Kazakhstan pavilion was one of the most prominent at the fair and attracted particular attention from Amman residents and representatives of the diplomatic corps. The exhibition featured colorful elements of traditional Kazakh clothing, exquisite jewelry and handicrafts, national souvenirs, as well as confectionery products made in Kazakhstan.
All proceeds go towards supporting the programs of the Mabarrat Um Al-Hussein Institute, which provides shelter and education for boys aged 6 to 18 from low-income and disadvantaged families.
Kazakhstan's active participation in such cultural and charitable projects contributes to strengthening cooperation with Jordan and confirms our country's commitment to the principles of mutual assistance and solidarity.
