The Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented his credentials to the President of Iraq

Baghdad, October 8, 2025. An official ceremony was held to present the credentials of H.E. Mr.Talgat Shaldanbay, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to H.E. Dr.Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of Iraq.

In a conversation following the ceremony, the two sides discussed current issues related to strengthening Kazakh-Iraqi relations.

Ambassador Shaldanbay conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to Abdul Latif Rashid on behalf of H.E. Mr.Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reaffirming our country's commitment to further deepening bilateral cooperation.

In turn, the President of Iraq expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of friendly ties between Kazakhstan and Iraq and wished the Ambassador success in his diplomatic endeavors.
