Reception on the occasion of the Belgium King’s Day

On November 14, 2024, Ambassador-at-Large - Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov made a welcoming speech at a reception on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Kingdom of Belgium - King's Day, organized by the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Belgium in Almaty.

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Kazakhstan Henri Vantigem and Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Belgium Denis Van den Weghe also spoke at the event.

In his speech, the Head of the Representative Office noted the development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Belgium in the political, trade, economic and consular spheres. He also stressed the importance of regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, including the successful fifth round of negotiations in Brussels in October 2024, as well as the signing by Kazakhstan and the Benelux countries of the Protocol on Visa Exemption for Official Passports in November 2024.

In conclusion, Zh. Abdrashov expressed confidence in the further deepening of friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Kazakhstan and Belgium.
