National Holiday of the Republic of Korea

On September 23, 2024, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Korea. During the event, the Ambassador-at-Large - Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zh. Abdrashov, made a welcoming speech and noted that bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Korea are developing at a high pace. Last year, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $6 billion US dollars. Also, the 120,000 Korean diaspora was noted, which is a "golden bridge of friendship" and makes a huge contribution to strengthening contacts between our peoples. The program of the event also included a concert and elements of the national Korean theater.
