Kazakhstan and South Korea: new qualitative relations in new time

In the period from May 30 to June 1, 2023, the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Park Jin to Kazakhstan took place.                   

During the visit, the Foreign Minister held meetings with the President, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as with representatives of Korean companies and the Korean diaspora in Kazakhstan.      

During the meeting, the issues of prospects for the development of Kazakh-South Korean cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and interaction in a multilateral format were discussed.                                          

Also, Minister Park Jin visited the Republican State Academic Korean Theater and an art exhibition dedicated to the Korean diaspora of Kazakhstan.
