Meeting of representatives of PD, DSSS and DES with the diplomatic corps and UN agencies

On April 18, in the UN Plaza building, the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in Almaty organized a meeting of the heads of the Almaty Police Department, the Department of the Special Security Service and the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty with the Consuls General and Heads of international UN agencies accredited in Almaty.

During the meeting, issues of security of diplomatic missions in the event of natural emergencies (earthquakes, floods, landslides, fires) and man-made nature were discussed.

Deputy Head of the PD of Almaty, Police Colonel Utebaev D. informed the diplomats about the state of the criminogenic and migration situation in Almaty and answered their questions.

Lieutenant Colonel of the Emergency Department of Almaty Bugabaev B. familiarized the audience with the map of earthquake-prone areas of Almaty, earthquake-resistant buildings, reception points for earthquake victims, presented the mobile program «Darmen», which helps during emergencies.
