Visit of US Congressmen to Almaty

On August 30, 2022, Head of the Representative Office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in Almaty B. Bulegenov held a meeting with US Congressmen D. Panetta and T. Suozi, who visited Kazakhstan as part of US Department State cultural and educational program (MESEA).

During the visit, US Congressional delegation was also introduced with activities of UN agencies in Almaty (UNAMА, UNHCR, UNDGC, UNDSS, UNEP, UNESCO, UNFPA).

Moreover, with assistance of the Representative Office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, meeting of American legislators with Deputy Akim of Almaty A.Kyrykbayev was held, they discussed matters of trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and regional cooperation.
