Kazakh Ambassador Discussed Cooperation Prospects with Ethiopia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Addis Ababa, 21 January 2025 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia and Kenya (concurrently), and the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the African Union, Barlybay Sadykov, held a meeting with the Director-General of the Department for Middle East, Asia, and Oceania Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Kassaw Negus. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed pressing issues of bilateral political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation and shared their plans for the current year. 

The agenda also included matters of collaboration on international platforms, organisation of visits, holding the next round of inter-ministerial political consultations, and strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue. The discussions also involved an exchange of views on expanding the legal framework between the two countries.
