Kazakhstan Will Assume the Chairmanship of the Economic Cooperation Organization

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu participated to the 28th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

During the meeting, the heads of delegations discussed key areas of interaction within the ECO framework and considered proposals for strengthening regional economic cooperation.

In his speech, Minister Nurtleu noted that the Republic of Kazakhstan will assume the chairmanship of the Organization in 2025, which will be held under the motto “Promoting Regional Transport Connectivity and Sustainable Development.”
