Ethiopia is interested in strengthening partnership with Kazakhstan – Dr. M. Teshome, former President of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2023 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ethiopia organized a reception on the occasion of the celebration of the Republic Day.

The event was attended by high representatives of the Foreign Ministry, Parliament and state bodies of Ethiopia, ambassadors of foreign states, experts of analytical centers, mass media, and members of the Friends Club of Kazakhstan.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia, Permanent Representative to the African Union Barlybay Sadykov acquainted the guests with the history of the Kazakh state, the significance of the Declaration of Sovereignty for the construction of independent Kazakhstan, modern achievements in the field of foreign policy, as well as the reforms of President K.Tokayev on the construction of a Fair and Hearing state.

Dr. Mulatu Teshome, the former President of Ethiopia, Board President of the Center for Investment and Networking in Ethiopia, delivered a congratulatory speech as the guest of honor. He congratulated all Kazakhstanis on the holiday and noted the intention of the Ethiopian government to strengthen bilateral cooperation between our countries.
