Ambassador of Kazakhstan discussed trade and economic opportunities of cooperation with Rwanda

Kigali, October 14, 2022 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia, Permanent Representative to the African Union B.Sadykov held a meeting with Dr. Alexis Nsengumuremyi, the Chairperson of the Services Cluster of the Private Sector Federation (chamber of commerce) of Rwanda.

The Ambassador informed about the trade opportunities of our country, as well as about the political and economic reforms of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev on the construction of «New Kazakhstan».

The representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rwanda, from his part, praised the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan and offered to develop cooperation in such areas as mining, construction, financial and insurance services, tourism, agriculture, hotel business.

In addition, the Rwandan side proposed to conclude a Memorandum of cooperation at the level of the CCI of the two countries in order to exchange experience, as well as develop trade and economic cooperation.
