UNEP briefing

August 23, 2022, Addis Ababa. - The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ethiopia took part in an online briefing on the results of the first part of the 18th session of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) and the 5th session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-5), organized by the UNEP office in Addis Ababa.

Within the framework of the briefing, the participating countries exchanged information on planned activities for the near future, and also discussed plastic pollution, climate change, loss of nature and biodiversity and issues of implementation of the application of international conventions in the field of environmental protection.

Following the briefing, in order to deepen multilateral cooperation, the participants requested to hold online meetings on an ongoing basis.
