Congratulations Message from Ambassador Shiferaw Shigutie, Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs
On behalf of the Institute of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia and myself I would like to extend my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan's economy is the largest in Central Asia, mainly due to the country's vast natural resources and utilization of them properly. This significant and meaningful development is exemplary to Ethiopia.
In September last year we marked the 30th anniversary of the establishing of the diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Ethiopia. In these years both have registered commendable and incremental relationships. Ethiopia and Kazakhstan have common situations especially for comprising many ethnic groups and local languages, being landlocked and border with many neighboring countries. The presence of such similarities invite one to learn from another.
Finally, I wish more glorious success and progress for the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Ethiopia. Taking this opportunities I would like to say that my institute which is one of the wings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia is happy to work with similar think tanks of Kazakhstan to work on global issues. Have a great celebrations.
