Prospects for the development of bilateral trade were discussed at a seminar in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, January 28, 2022 - The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ethiopia organized a seminar on the development of bilateral trade with representatives of a number of Addis Ababa companies. During the meeting, the Roadmap of Cooperation adopted by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ethiopia together with the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce in September 2021 was discussed and supplemented with specific plans.

The participants summed up the results of previous meetings and seminars on trade issues made an analysis of barriers hindering the development of cooperation and discussed areas of interaction for the future.

During the exchange of views on the issues raised, the businessmen expressed their interest in participating in trade development events, including organizing their visit to Kazakhstan in search of Kazakhstani partners and exploration of the Kazakhstani market.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the elaboration of proposals received from businessmen and on the continuation of joint work on the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation
