The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia met with the Director of the Europe Department of the MFA of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, December 7, 2021 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia, Permanent Representative to the African Union Barlybai Sadykov held a meeting with Genet Teshome, Director General of the Department of Europe and the European Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights, international politics, multilateral diplomacy, as well as topical issues of the international and regional agenda.

Ambassador B.Sadykov shared with the Director of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia about the successes of Kazakhstan's foreign policy, the implementation of democratic reforms of the Head of State, the results of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.

G.Teshome congratulated Kazakhstan on its election to the UN Council on Human Rights for 2022-2024. and expressed interest in enhancing the dialogue between Kazakhstan and Ethiopia with a view to joint actions at multilateral platforms.
