Prospects for cooperation in training personnel of foreign policy structures discussed in Ethiopia

 

Addis Ababa, September 21, 2021, - Today, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia Barlybay Sadykov met with Arega Hailu, Director of the Institute for Training Employees (ITE) of the Foreign Relations Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on training programs for employees for foreign policy structures, the prospects for mutual exchange of experience, holding joint events in the political, cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as the possibility of establishing partnerships between the ITE  and similar structures in Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan acquainted the interlocutor with the main content of the annual Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev, the initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev in the field of security, development, culture, including "Rukhani Zhangyru", as well as the program of Kazakhstan for holding events dedicated to 30-th anniversary of the country's independence.

In turn, Arega Hailu acquainted the Kazakh side with the criteria for training Ethiopian diplomats, the form of training and professional requirements for the staff of the Ethiopian diplomatic service.

In conclusion, the parties agreed to consider the possibilities of strengthening cooperation in the exchange of experience in the training of employees of the diplomatic service and holding joint events.
