August 29 has been declared a Day of national mourning in Kazakhstan

The Head of State declared August 29 a Day of national mourning.

"In connection with the tragic incident in the Bayzak district of the Zhambyl region, which caused the death of people, I declare August 29 a Day of national mourning. The dead servicemen and rescuers showed true heroism and selflessness. They will forever remain in the memory of the people, " Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wrote on Twitter.
