Kazakhstan and Ghana strengthen bilateral relations

Addis Ababa, August 13, 2026 – H.E. Zhalgas Adilbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, held a meeting with H.E. MacArios Akanbenab Akanbong, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Ghana to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

During their discussion, the ambassadors had extensive discussion of perspectives and opportunities for Kazakh-Ghanaian bilateral and multilateral cooperation and expressed joint commitments to advance relations between two countries to a new level.

They also exchanged views and approaches to the common goals for signing several bilateral agreement designed to build solid legal framework, promote opening of honorary consulates in respective countries, exchange official and business visits and facilitate holding of political and consular consultations.

Concluding the meeting, heads of missions reiterated their dedication to maintain good and mutually beneficial relations with the aim to deepen partnership and effectively promoting joint initiatives.
