Kazakh-Ethiopian webinar

12 November 2020 Addis Ababa, - Today a webinar "On the state and prospects of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Ethiopia" was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, other government agencies and business circles of the two countries.

The participants were welcomed by Mr. Almas Aidarov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mrs. Tzion Teklu, State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia

During the webinar, presentations were made on "Export-import potential of Kazakhstan", "Investment potential and opportunities of Kazakhstan", "Foreign trade, investment and tourism potential of Ethiopia."

The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation. The great potential for expanding bilateral ties was

noted and an agreement was reached to continue work in order to familiarize the business communities of the two countries with the prospects for cooperation.

Closing remarks were made by Ambassador Davano Kedir, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, and Barlybay Sadykov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia.
