West Kazakhstan region expands investment cooperation with the UAE

On February 22, 2022, H.E. Gali Iskaliyev, West Kazakhstan region Governor, paid working visit to Abu Dhabi. During the visit, the Head of the region met with H.H. Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Senior Member of the Ruling Family of Abu Dhabi.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the construction of the deep oil refining modular plant in the West Kazakhstan region. The parties noted the social and economic importance of the project for the region and agreed to make every effort necessary for its successful implementation.

At the same time, the parties discussed the prospects for investment cooperation in the field of oil and gas and agriculture.
