UAE praised Kazakhstan’s preparation for EXPO 2020 Dubai

Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates met with Reem Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai. The meeting reviewed the prospects for the further development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE within the framework of international organizations. Both sides considered the issues of the participation of the two countries in planned events, including Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Ambassador noted that the content of the Kazakh National Pavilion reveals the theme of the exhibition - “Connecting Minds - Creating the Future”. Madiyar Menilbekov added that the image of Kazakh pavilion is a combination of modern digital solutions and traditions, where visitors will get acquainted with both the rich cultural heritage of nomads and the new economic opportunities of Kazakhstan.

Reem Al Hashimi highly appreciated the current level of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and the UAE in the international arena, while expressing gratitude for the active preparation for Kazakhstan's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai. The Minister of State, noting the positive experience of Kazakhstan’s hosting the International Specialized Exhibition Astana EXPO-2017 added that participation in such event of a global scale will provide the country with an opportunity not only to present the enormous potential of Kazakhstan to the whole world, but will also strengthen multilateral cooperation in addressing modern challenges and threats.
