Thanks to achieving independence, Kazakhstan, under the leadership of the First President of the country, Nursultan Nazarbayev, is confidently moving along the path of development chosen by him.

The Independence Day is, a symbol of freedom and harmony, an indicator of the high international prestige of Kazakhstan, which occupies a worthy place in world politics. The Fifth Summit of the Heads of the Caspian States held in Mangystau is evidence of that. After 20 years of negotiations, a historical document was signed in Aktau - the Convention on the Status of the Caspian Sea.

Today, there are 81 projects in the investment portfolio of Mangystau. Nine more projects are being implemented to develop the transit potential in the region.

The implementation of all these plans was made possible thanks to the stability and independence of our state.

Strong political stability, harmonization of interethnic and interreligious relations, sustainable socio-economic development, continuous increase in the standard of living of the people and the constant strengthening of the country's authority in the international arena.
