Mangystau region for January-September 2023
For the period January-September 2023, according to the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Mangystau region, the volume of industrial production in the region amounted to 2059.4 billion tenge (January – September 2022 - 2332.6 billion tenge), the physical volume index (IFO) compared to the corresponding period last year – 99.3%. Including:
Mining industry production volume it amounted to 1756.7 billion tenge, IFO – 99.0% (January-September 2022 – 2013.8 billion tenge). The share in the structure of industry is 85.3%. The volume of oil production amounted to 12304.8 thousand tons (January-September 2022 – 12456.1 thousand tons) or 98.8%.
The volume of services in the mining industry amounted to 192.5 billion tenge (January–September 2022 - 185.6 billion tenge.) or 92.8% compared to the corresponding period last year.
For reference: The decline in industrial production during the reporting period is due to a decrease in oil production volumes in enterprises and production volumes in related industries, due to power outages in the current period by the MAEK..
Manufacturing industry output it amounted to 163.1 billion tenge, IFO – 97.3% (January-September 2022 – 150.7 billion tenge). The share in the structure of industry for the reporting period is 7.9%. The growth of production volumes during the reporting period was observed in the production of leather goods (footwear) (126.2%), in the production of rubber and plastic products (158.7%), in the metallurgical industry (104.8%) and in mechanical engineering (126.5%). In the context of enterprises, the growth of production volumes during the reporting period was observed: in Zhamal-ai LTD LLP, Kaskor-Mashzavod JSC, Aktau Machine-Building Plant LLP, Arcelor Mittal Tubular Products Aktau JSC, Fiberglass Pipe Plant LLP, KazGPZ LLP, SEWON - VERTEX JSC HEAVY INDUSTRY", Temirtas-1 LLP, Zhanaozensky Dairy Plant LLP, Millina Food Production Somrapi LTD LLP, etc.
In the field of electricity supply with gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning production volume – 122.4 billion tenge (January-September 2022 – 106.3 billion tenge) IFO – 106%. The share of the industry in the structure of industry for the reporting period was 6.0%.
In the field of water supply; collection, treatment and disposal of waste, pollution elimination activities the volume of production is 17.2 billion tenge (January-September 2022 – 15.0 billion tenge), the IFO amounted to 107.3%. The share of the industry in the industrial structure is 0.8%.
