Information on industrial development
Mangystau region for january-july 2023
According to the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Mangystau region for the period January-July 2023, the volume of industrial production amounted to 1585.9 billion tenge, the index of physical volume (IPV) compared to the period last year – 101.6% (January–July 2022 - 1765.9 billion tenge).

The volume of production of the mining industry amounted to 1348.6 billion tenge, IPV – 100.6% (January-July 2022 – 1561.3 billion tenge). The share in the structure of industry is 85.0%.
The volume of oil production amounted to 9608.7 thousand tons (January-July 2022 – 9635.1 thousand tons) or 99.7%.
For reference: The decrease in oil production volumes during the reporting period is due to a decrease in oil production volumes in enterprises, due to the disconnection of electrical energy from the MAEK (JSC Ozenmunaigas (98.8%), JSC Karazhanbasmunai (99.8%, etc.).
The increase in oil production during the reporting period was observed in Mangistaumunaigas JSC (104.3%), Buzachi Operating LTD FC (101.7%), Karakudukmunai LLP(102.9%), Emir Oil LLP(123.5%), Ken-Sary LLP(104.2%), LLP Buzachi Oil (130.5%).
The volume of technical services in the mining industry amounted to 151.9 billion tenge (January–July 2022 - 131.9 billion tenge.) or 103.1% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The volume of manufacturing industry production amounted to 109.9 billion tenge, IPV – 109.2% (January–July 2022 - 103.6 billion tenge). The share in the structure of industry for the reporting period is 7.0%.
The growth of production volumes during the reporting period was observed in light industry (100.3%), including in the production of leather goods (footwear) 129.9%, in the production of rubber and plastic products (187.5%) and in mechanical engineering (142.9%).
In the context of enterprises, the growth of production volumes during the reporting period was observed: in JSC "KazAzot", LLP "Zhamal-ai LTD", JSC "Kaskor-Mashzavod", JSC "Arcelor Mittal Tubular Products Aktau", LLP "KazGPZ", JSC "SEWON - VERTEX HEAVY INDUSTRY", LLP "Temirtas-1", LLP "Zhanaozensky dairy plant", LLP "Millina Food Production somrapi LTD", etc.
In the field of electricity supply with gas, steam, hot water and air–conditioned air, the volume of production is 94.8 billion tenge, IPV – 107.2% (January-July 2022 – 83.2 billion tenge). The share of the industry in the structure of industry for the reporting period was 6.0%.
In the field of water supply; collection, treatment and disposal of waste, activities for the elimination of pollution, the volume of production – 13.0 billion tenge, IPV amounted to 105.9%. The share of the industry in the industrial structure is 0.8%.
