Information on industrial development of Mangystau region for january-may 2023
In january-may 2023, according to the Bureau of national statistics of the Agency for strategic planning and reforms of the republic of Kazakhstan, industrial enterprises of the Mangystau region produced products at current prices for 1,113.3 billion tenge, the index of physical volume (hereinafter – PVI) of industrial products by the corresponding period of 2022 amounted to 102.3%. Including:
In the mining industry and quarrying (the share in the structure of industry for the reporting period is 85.3%).
The volume of production amounted to 949.3 billion tenge, PVI – 102.1%.
The volume of oil production in physical terms is 6,931.6 thousand tons or 101.6%.
The volume of natural gas production is 1,132.4 million cubic meters, or 93.3% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The increase in oil production during the reporting period compared to the same period last year is observed in JSC Mangistaumunaigas, JSC Karazhanbasmunai, a branch of the company Buzachi Operating LTD, LLP kom-Nefai, LLP Emir-Oil, LLP Buzachi Oil, LLP Tenge Oilgas Jupiter Energy", "Meerbush" LLP, etc.
There has been a positive trend in the manufacturing industry since the beginning of the year. The share in the structure of industry for the reporting period is 7.7%.
The volume of production of the industry amounted to 86.2 billion tenge, PVI by the corresponding period of last year 103.2%.
In the context of industries, the growth of production volumes during the reporting period is observed in the following branches of the manufacturing industry:
- in the production of rubber and plastic products – 183.2%;
- in mechanical engineering, PVI – 147.1%;
- in the production of pharmaceutical products - 110%.
In the context of enterprises , the growth of production volumes during the reporting period is observed in the following manufacturing enterprises:
- in LLP "Fiberglass Pipe Plant", JSC "Kaskor-Mashzavod", LLP "Aktau Machine-Building Plant", JSC "Arcelor Mittal Tubular Products Aktau", LLP "Kazakhstan Pipe Traders", LLP "Mangystau Oil Refining", LLP "Zhamal-ai LTD", LLP "Temirtas-1", Zhanaozensky Dairy Plant LLP, Millina Food Production Somrapi LTD LLP, etc.
In the field of supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air–conditioned air, the volume of production is 69.1 billion tenge, PVI – 105.1%. The share of the industry in the structure of industry for the reporting period was 6.2%.
In the field of water supply; collection, treatment and disposal of waste, activities for the elimination of pollution, production volume – 8.7 billion tenge, IFO – 99.9%. The share of the industry in the industrial structure is 0.8%.
