Mangystau region for january- march 2023
In January-march 2023, according to the Bureau of national statistics of the agency for strategic planning and reforms of the republic of Kazakhstan, industrial enterprises of the Mangystau region produced products at current prices for 678.6 billion tenge (2022 – 681.7 billion tenge), the growth of the index of physical volume (hereinafter – IFO) of industrial products by the corresponding period of 2023 amounted to 105.1%.
Including:
In the mining industry and quarrying, the volume of production is 582 billion tenge (2022 – 597.6 billion tenge), the growth of the IFO is 105.4%, the share in the structure of industry for the reporting period is 85.7%.
The volume of oil production amounted to 4186.2 thousand tons (2022 – 4058.7 thousand tons) or 103.4%;
The volume of natural gas production is 683.1 million cubic meters (2022 – 735.1 million cubic meters) or 93.1% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The volume of services provided in the mining industry is 63.3 billion tenge (2022 – 43.2 billion tenge), the growth of the IFO is 128.1%.
In the manufacturing industry, the production volume of the industry amounted to 48 billion tenge (2022 – 40.5 billion tenge), the growth of the IFO by 101.0% compared to the corresponding period last year. The share in the structure of industry for the reporting period is 7.1%.
In the context of industries, the growth of production volumes during the reporting period is observed in the following branches of the manufacturing industry:
- in light industry, IFO – 102.1%;
- in the chemical industry, IFO – 100.1%;
- in mechanical engineering, IFO – 132.5%
- in the production of pharmaceutical products, IFO – 108.2%
- in the production of rubber and plastic products, IFO – 172.6%
In the field of supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air–conditioned products were produced in the amount of 43.5 billion tenge (2022 – 38.7 billion tenge), the growth of the IFO – 105.7%. The share of the industry in the structure of industry for the reporting period was 6.4%.
In the field of water supply, collection, treatment and disposal of waste, pollution elimination activities, products worth 5.0 billion tenge were produced (2022 – 4.9 billion tenge), the growth of the IFO – 98.3%. The share of the industry in the industrial structure is 0.7%.
