Currently, 361,01 children are educated in 311 (public-141 (45%), private-170 (55%)) preschool organizations (hereinafter - PSOs) in the region.
159 private kindergartens receive state orders.
In 2019, 30 preschool organizations for 2258 places were opened, and the coverage of children aged 3-6 with preschool organizations was 100%.
2020-2025 According to the step-by-step plan, 20 PSOs for 1790 places are planned to be opened in 2020, and 10 private kindergartens for 865 places have been opened in the last 10 months. It is planned to open 122 PSOs for 10,825 places by 2025.
Kindergartens are also being opened through the public-private partnership mechanism (PPP). 5 kindergartens were opened through the PPP mechanism in Mangystau region (Aktau-4, Munaily - 1).
The average cost per child per month in preschool organizations in the region is 30,488 tenge, and the average monthly payment of parents is 11,827 tenge.
In the future, in accordance with the State Program for the Development of Education and Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2025, it is planned to cover children aged 1-6 with PSOs.
On the basis of the order of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Mangistau region dated August 14, 2020 "On the quarantine regime and the gradual simplification of quarantine measures in the territory of Mangistau region", duty groups were opened in preschool organizations of the region beginning from the August 19 of the current year.
Today, 15127 children are brought up in 1125 groups of 233 PSOs , that is 44.0% (Aktau - 7516, Zhanaozen - 3221, Beineu district - 200, Karakiya district - 840, Mangistau district - 213, Munaily district - 3079, Tupkaragan district - 58).
A total of 2,654 teachers and 3,075 other staff members (nurses, cooks, laundresses, etc.) work in the full-time kindergartens.
Sanitary and epidemiological, disinfection works are carried out in accordance with the requirements.
