How aware are NGOs about anti-corruption methods? How, according to experts, to minimize corruption risks in the field of state social order? These and many questions were discussed at online seminars supported by the Ministry.
A series of online seminars was conducted by the Charitable Foundation “Zor Rukh” and the project office of the ministry “Adaldyk Alagy” and covered over 120 representatives of government agencies, NGOs, the expert community of 12 regions of the country.
The trainers-consultants of the seminars were experts in the field of anticorruption policy: Battalova Z.K., Gabdualiev M.T., Kozhagulov A.B., Askarov B.K.
The seminar discussed in detail the normative legal regulation of liability for corruption offenses, as well as a methodological manual for identifying corruption risks and implementing projects within the framework of the state social order for NGOs, developed by order of the Ministry.
The organizers of the seminars note that the audience is sufficiently aware of the issues of anti-corruption state policy; during the seminars, the listeners actively asked questions to identify the conditions and causes that contribute to the commission of corruption offenses and to eliminate their consequences.
The participants discussed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On state social order, grants and bonuses for non-governmental organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan", the competence of state bodies in the field of state social order.
It was suggested that in order to prevent and resolve conflicts of interest in the field of state social order for NGOs, it would be advisable to develop and approve a relevant regulatory legal act "On the procedure for preventing and resolving conflicts of interest by the heads of state organizations" and further work to strengthen the interaction of anti-corruption actors.
These and other proposals of the participants of the seminars will be transferred to the project office of "Adaldyk Alagy" of the Ministry.
