Vice-Minister B. Tlepov took part in the online interview "AntikorLive"

On September 14, vice-minister of Information and Public Development Bolat Tlepov, at the invitation of the Anti-Corruption Agency, took part in an online interview with AntikorLive.

During the interview, the vice-minister spoke about the work carried out by the Ministry and the subordinate organizations of the Ministry to combat corruption, including the results of the work of the project office "Adaldyk alagy".

Particular attention was paid to the issues of ensuring information transparency of the activities of state bodies and organizations of the quasi-public sector.

“Openness should be part of the culture of the civil service. If the state apparatus is available to citizens and “hears” their requests, then society does not have to commit illegal acts to solve its problems”- the vice-minister stressed.

Bolat Tlepov also shared the Ministry's plans to improve legislation in the field of access to information, the activities of public councils, as well as public control, taking into account the instructions voiced by the Head of State in the Address to the people of Kazakhstan on September 1.

The adoption of these amendments will, among other things, assist in the fight against corruption.
