А round table on issues of national education and strengthening of family values ​​was held

On September 11, 2020, on the eve of the Family Day, with the participation of the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Balayeva, an online round table on national education and strengthening family values ​​was held.
The purpose of the event is to determine the role of parents, schools and society, to draw attention to urgent problems of education and upbringing of children.
The round table was attended by state and public figures, poets and writers, representatives of the pedagogical community, non-governmental organizations, interested government agencies, and the media.
In her speech, Minister of Information and Social Development A. Balayeva noted: “Achievements and problems in families are a common indicator of society. As you know, the formation of a person's personality occurs on the basis of the values ​​that he receives in the family and in society. "
At the same time, A. Balayeva drew attention to the fact that during the pandemic the role of the family and the responsibility of parents in raising children increased. “In this regard, it is necessary to take a fresh look at the value attitudes of the family,” the minister stressed.
Moderator of the event O. Asangazykyzy noted the importance of promoting national education, active interdepartmental interaction of educational organizations, the media in strengthening the institution of marriage and family in Kazakhstan.
Writer, Doctor of Medical and Pedagogical Sciences, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Sovetkhan Gabbasov shared his experience and suggested using the methodology described in his books in the process of raising children.
Director of the Institute of Literature and Art. M. Auezov M. Kenzhekhanuly expressed the opinion that the new realities of the nation are formed from the family and proposed to study the typology of Kazakh pedagogy and bring education to a new trend.
Famous teacher, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan A. Mirazova emphasized that the platform of family education, harmonized with family values, is necessary both for traditional work and for work in the online format.
In general, the participants noted the need to revise the content of programs on TV channels, taking into account the direction of national education, family values, and additional courses to prepare for family life in secondary and higher educational institutions.
