Marat Azilkhanov met with the leadership of the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan's Muslims

On September 3, 2020, Vice Minister of Information and Social Development Marat Azilkhanov met with the Chairman of the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims, Supreme Mufti Nauryzbay kazhy Taganuly and heads of departments of the RAKM.

The meeting discussed the functioning of religious buildings after the weakening of the quarantine regime, strengthening the information and educational work of imams within the framework of prevention of religious extremism, streamlining the construction of mosques in the regions, etc.

The parties exchanged views on improving interaction between the Ministry and the RAKM, as well as strengthening interfaith harmony.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for close cooperation in the implementation of state policy in the field of religion.
