Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva held a meeting with the Head of the National Ethnic Affairs Comission of China Pan Yue

During the meeting the parties discussed issues of bilateral interdepartmental cooperation, as well as prospects for establishing business contacts between the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Committee for Ethnic Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

In her speech, Minister Aida Balayeva, welcoming her Chinese counterpart on his first working visit to Kazakhstan, and congratulated the guests on the upcoming main holiday of China – the Day of the Formation of the People's Republic of China, and also noted the high level of mutual trust and strategic partnership achieved between the heads of the two states.

The Minister, emphasizing the importance of strengthening interdepartmental cooperation on the basis of mutual understanding, voiced proposals on the main areas of bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Pan Yue, in turn, thanked his Kazakh counterpart for the invitation, highly appreciated the level of Kazakh-Chinese relations and expressed confidence that this visit will give a new impetus to their further strengthening.

In addition, Mr. Pan Yue, wishing Minister Aida Balayeva success in her new position, invited her for a working visit to China as part of an interdepartmental partnership.
In addition, the parties discussed the prospects for increasing cooperation in the field of regulating interethnic relations, expressed their focus on developing bilateral contacts, and also signed a Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Committee for Ethnic Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
