Darkhan Kydyrali met with the Minister of Waqfs of Egypt Mohammed Mukhtar Zhuma and Rector of Al-Azhar University Salama Daoud

Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Chief Mufti Nauryzbai kazhy Taganuly also took part in the meeting.

Minister of Information and Public Development Darkhan Kydyrali thanked his colleague for the hospitality and stressed the importance of developing mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.

Kazakh students are currently studying at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. And Doctors of Sciences and professors from Al-Azhar University teach at the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak in Kazakhstan. Both countries are actively cooperating in the scientific direction.

Also, the parties once again worked out issues within the protocol of the Board of Trustees held in September last year and discussed the opening of the Baibaristan center at the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak.

It is worth noting that today the opening ceremony after the reconstruction of the Sultan Baybarys Mosque took place in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It was also visited by the Kazakh delegation, which held a number of events within the framework of the solemn event.
