Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the portal «Open dialogue» conducts a survey «on the implementation of «media literacy» in schools and Universities»

The Ministry of information and public development of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs that a survey on the topic "on the implementation of media literacy in schools and Universities" is being conducted on the portal "Open dialogue".

One of the important directions of media development is the formation of media and information literacy of the population.

In modern conditions, when there is strong growth in public activity in the information space, there is a need to actively develop media education in schools and Universities, which aims to instil an information culture of adequate perception of media materials to analyze and evaluate media activities.

The survey is conducted to collect opinions and suggestions on the need to introduce the discipline "media literacy"in schools and Universities. The results of the survey will be taken into account when implementing projects aimed at creating media and information literacy of the population.
