The first meeting of the UN Women project management committee in Kazakhstan was held

The first meeting of the UN Women Project Management Committee in Kazakhstan was held. Minister Darkhan Kydyrali attended this meeting.

As part of the associated grant from UN Women for 2022-2024, an extended meeting of the project management committee was held.

A Project management committee was established to oversee and strategically guide the national project.

The committee included UN-Women representative Maria Dotsenko, UNESCO Director for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Magnus Magnusson, representatives of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies Lyazzat Ramazanova and Tarasenko and ministry specialists.

During the meeting, the parties noted the importance of mutual strategic partnership to achieve sustainable development goals.

It should be reminded that earlier Ministry supported the worldwide action of the International Day against Violence Against Women “Stop Violence!”, the symbol of which is the orange color.
