A press briefing on the “Zhas Project” was held

A press briefing on the “Zhas Project” was held today at the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan https://youtu.be/17UFLU1PAkc

The speakers were Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry Kairat Baymuldinov, Acting Chairman of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives of the Ministry Galym Kurman, Executive Director of the Youth Congress of Kazakhstan Tokhtar Bolysov and head of the Republican Unified Children's and Youth Organization “Zhas Ulan” Dinara Sadvakasova.

The “Zhas Project” is being implemented in pilot mode in Almaty, Karaganda, Mangystau, Turkestan, Zhetysu and Ulytau regions.

More than 250 small grants have been allocated to support youth initiatives.

Within each grant, up to 1 million tenge is provided for financing a specific project.

Kazakhstan citizens aged 18 to 29 can take part in the grant competition.

Applications for participation are accepted until August 10, 2022.
