A memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Mass Media of Saudi Arabia

During the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of mass media was signed between the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Mass Media of Saudi Arabia.

In accordance with the memorandum in order to hold meetings, seminars and conferences in the field of media between the two countries, press institutions of the two states will interact etc.

A memorandum of understanding and exchange of news was also signed between the Saudi Press Agency and Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It will increase the exchange of information content between MIA «Kazinform» and the «Saudi News Agency», which will allow the audience of the two countries to track daily news on a cross-country scale. The parties also intend to increase cooperation in the field of creation and exchange of content. 

In addition, a number of agreements and memoranda were signed between several departments of the two countries.
