Today, the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Umarov met with representatives of Paramount on the development of children's and youth content.
The meeting was attended by Elena Balmont, Senior Vice-President and CEO of Paramount International Networks in the CIS and Baltic Countries, and Maria Kosareva, Vice President for the Development of Paramount children's and entertainment brands in the CIS and Baltic countries.
«The development of high-quality children's content increases competition among domestic companies. This, in turn, will allow us to develop the infrastructure of translations and dubbing, thereby improving their quality», said A. Umarov.
Paramount representatives presented thematic program blocks designed for preschool and adolescent children.
The parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation on increasing children's content in the state language, as well as cooperation with local animation studios.
The participants of the meeting expressed their readiness for further comprehensive cooperation and implementation of joint projects.
