Representatives of the Ministry of Information and Social Development and UNICEF visited Karkaralinsk today to get acquainted with the results of the implementation of the SAMGAU project to strengthen social entrepreneurship skills among adolescents and young people using advanced methods of experimental training.
In total, over 2020-2021, more than 20,000 young people took part in the program and learned how to implement their ideas into real projects.
In the Youth Resource Center of Karkaralinsk, graduates of the project presented the updated infrastructure of the IDC and told about the development strategy for 2021-2022, main activities and ongoing projects.
"It is very important for us to hear the opinions of young people, understand their needs and speak the same language with them. We are making efforts to transfer the Ministry's activities to a service model to support youth initiatives.
Projects such as Samgau are very important to us, which strengthen skills and make it possible to implement ideas locally, especially in rural areas, and we are grateful to our partners for this. We plan to jointly strengthen the potential of youth resource centers, work in this direction is already underway," said Vice-Minister of Information and Social Development A. Danilov.
At the site of the district Youth resource center, a discussion was held on current problems, challenges and development models of the IDC together with the Youth Research Center and the Community of Youth Workers (an NGO implementing a profile project within the framework of a grant from the Center for Support of Civic Initiatives).
