Memorandum were signed between the Ministry of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the authorized agencies of the Republic of Turkey

Within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev to the Republic of Turkey, memoranda on cooperation in the field of mass media were signed with the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Communications Department under the Presidential Office of the Republic of Turkey; also on mutual understanding between the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey in the field of youth policy.

Cooperation within the framework of the signed memoranda will be aimed at expanding and developing cooperation in these areas. These memoranda cover the following main areas.

In the field of mass media:

- The Parties will promote the dissemination of reliable information through their organizations engaged in the production and distribution of mass media in accordance with the national laws of their States.

- The Parties will facilitate the exchange of television and other information content between their organizations engaged in the production and distribution of mass media, subject to copyright and related rights.

- In order to study best practices and improve their skills, the parties will exchange experience between specialists in the field of mass media (journalists, cameramen, etc.).

- The parties will facilitate the establishment of contacts with the leading educational centers of the parties for the training of media trainers, etc.

On youth policy:

- exchange of specialists and representatives of state bodies and organizations in the field of youth policy;

- exchange of youth in order to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and the development of intercultural learning;

- mutual invitation and participation in international conferences, seminars and other events (forums, festivals and meetings) in the field of youth policy;

- exchange of unclassified materials and information in the field of youth policy;

- joint participation in the development and implementation of long-term and short-term programs and plans aimed at improving the level of work with young people;

- support of youth institutions and organizations in accordance with the terms of this Memorandum of Understanding, as well as their participation in the implementation of joint projects at the international level in the field of youth policy;

- mutual assistance in solving issues of international youth cooperation;

- joint cooperation of participants to create mechanisms for promoting and popularizing volunteer activities in society, involving young people in volunteer activities (encouraging Kazakhstani students studying in Turkey to apply and participate in the platform www.gencgonulluler.gov.tr young volunteers of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey; for students of the Republic of Turkey studying in Kazakhstan, organizing similar work on the platform www.qazvolunteer.kz);

- mutual support in the development of special programs, meetings and correspondence, etc.
