An expanded meeting of the Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan was held

Yesterday, on April 5, a meeting of the Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan - Head of the Secretariat M.A.Azilkhanov.

The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by members of Parliament S.Abdrakhmanov, A.Amirkhanyan, I.Bularov, N.Dementieva, Minister of Information and Social Development A.Umarov, as well as heads of other central state and local executive bodies, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, scientific and creative intelligentsia, youth and the media.

During the meeting of the APK Council, the issues of nominating candidates for deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, elected by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, instead of the retired one, as well as amendments and additions to the composition of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and its Council were considered.

During the event, Marat Azilkhanov highly appreciated the work of the members of the APK Council in the formation of the APK deputy corps and noted the importance of this issue in the context of the implementation of the program of political reforms announced in the Address of the Head of State "New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal and modernization".

He also noted that as part of the improvement of state policy in the field of interethnic relations, the composition of the APK and its Council are being amended accordingly.

Regional Assemblies are expanding at the expense of representatives of ethno-cultural associations, public institutions and structures of the APK (Scientific and Expert Council, councils of mothers, councils of public consent of the APK, councils of mediators, clubs of journalists, etc.), scientific and creative intelligentsia, public associations, ethnic media, youth organizations, as well as public opinion leaders in accordance with the proposals of the regions.

At the same time, the number of regional assemblies continues to increase, which is especially important in the context of a "hearing state".

At the suggestion of its members, the APK Council includes representatives of the scientific and expert community of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, newly appointed officials of central state and local executive bodies.

During the meeting of the Council, all decisions were adopted by the vote of the participants and will be sent for approval to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev.

Following the results of the work of the APK Council, M.Azilkhanov thanked all participants for their active and fruitful work, wishing further success in ensuring public harmony and national unity of the people of Kazakhstan.
