Procedures have been initiated to form a new composition of the Public Council in the field of information and Social Development

Today on March 31, a meeting on the selection of candidates of the Working Group on the formation of a Public Council in the field of information and Social Development was held.

The meeting was opened by the Minister of Information and Social Development Askar Umarov. The event was attended by candidates for members of the working group from civil society and representatives of the Ministry.

At the suggestion of the Minister, by voting, all 7 representatives of civil society wishing to become members of the working group were included: Sh.Pulatov, M.Espenova, A.Besen, M.Ermaganbetuly, M.Makhmetova, E.Mitrofanova, I.Safargaliyev.

Thus, the number of representatives of the Ministry in the working group decreased from 3 to 2 (Zh.Akhmetov, K.Zhumashev).

During the meeting, the working group elected the head and determined the quantitative composition of the elected public council by open voting.

Sherzod Abbozovich Pulatov, a public figure, a member of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and the Scientific and Expert Council of the APK, was elected the head of the working group by a majority of votes. The maximum quantitative composition of 30 members is also determined.

Further work will be determined by the Working Group and the next meeting of the working group on the formation of the public council is scheduled to be held in mid-April of this year 2022.
