The results of the competition for the provision of state grants for NGOs for 2022 have been summed up.
This year, by order of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 44 NGOs will implement nationwide projects aimed at the development of civil society, youth and family policy, as well as the development of religious activities in society.
"Issues of transparency and transparency have always been at the forefront of the activities of the CISC. They are priorities at all stages of the competition and during the implementation of projects. For example, the entire process of forming an expert commission and distributing applications was carried out using a randomizer of random numbers. The selection of experts was broadcast live on our Facebook page.
This year we will continue the practice of public presentations of grantees' projects live. In addition, we plan to involve our experts in joint monitoring of projects," said Acting Chairman of the Board of the CISC Galym Kurman.
According to him, future NGO projects will have a positive impact on the further development of civil society.
"Almost all projects are aimed at solving important social issues, such as employment, improving the quality of service provision, the work of volunteers, raising public awareness of state programs. In general, we plan that more than 3 million Kazakhstanis will be covered by projects within the framework of state grants," Galym Kurman said.
The results of the competition for the provision of state grants for NGOs for 2022 are available on the official website of the Civil Initiatives Support Center in the "Grants" section.
