The Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan discussed the tasks of implementing the President's Address - "New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal and modernization"
At an expanded meeting of the Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the issue of clarification and tasks of the implementation of the State of the nation address by President of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan - "New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal and modernization" was considered.
The Council was attended by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Balayeva, Deputy Chairman of the APK - Head of the APK Secretariat M.Azilkhanov, Vice-Minister of Information and Social Development S.Egizbayev, Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations G.Shoikin, deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of authorized bodies, mass media, public figures, members of the APK, heads of ethno-cultural associations, as well as republican and regional public structures of the APK.
Opening the meeting, A.Balayeva noted that "every citizen of our country needs to deeply understand the place and role of the Address in the fate of our country and our people."
According to the speaker, the priorities and objectives of the Address are based on the totality of Kazakhstan's achievements over 30 years of Independence in the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural spheres of development, and the Address was a continuation of the consistent course of political reforms initiated by President K.K. Tokayev in 2019 in his election program.
In her speech, A.Balayeva emphasized that the Address on March 16 opened a qualitatively new stage of state-building of New Kazakhstan, and the basic task for the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan is to maintain cohesion, national unity, solidarity.
The speaker focused the work of the APK on proactive nature, aimed at forming new prospects and creating new opportunities in the implementation of the tasks of the Address.
Further, A.Balayeva elaborated on the implementation of each of the priorities of the Address, revealed the place and role of the Assembly in these issues.
Thus, she expressed confidence that the proposed new parliamentary representation of the APK in the Senate brings the political system of Kazakhstan closer to world democratic standards, and the importance of parliamentary mandates of the Assembly will increase. In this regard, it is proposed to develop procedures for the selection and approval of recommended candidates for deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of the development of the party system, the task was announced to the APK – to become a mechanism for inter-party cooperation on issues of peace, unity and harmony in our country.
In her opinion, the mediators of the Assembly should contribute to the implementation of such tasks of the Address as reducing the level of violence in society, effective counteraction to offenses in the sphere of family and domestic relations, as well as to the prevention of violence against women and children.
Regarding the issue of ethnic media, A.Balayeva stressed that they should be firmly integrated into the public life of the country, form an important and unique segment of national content covering ethnic diversity.
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration proposed to launch a broad information project "Zhana Kazakstanga birge!", to which all structures of the APK should be connected.
She also stated the need to approach the issue of the Assembly's participation in the new institute of civil society - "Ulttyk Kuryltay" with full responsibility.
In conclusion, A.Balayeva noted a separate task of the Council - to discuss in detail a wide range of issues of nation-building and submit it for discussion at the upcoming regular session of the Assembly in April.
The members of the APK Council made proposals in their speeches – to organize the personnel reserve of the APK; to create a creative laboratory "APK-media" and the QOGAM LIFE platform as a permanent platform for discussing issues of information promotion of the unity policy; to implement a republican action of ethno-cultural associations on the basis of Friendship Houses "Everyone's contribution to the creation of a New Kazakhstan" to disclose the contribution of ethnic groups in the implementation of the Address.
The Council also launched the campaign "A small step towards a big dream", aimed at supporting specific people in organizing their business.
At the end of the Council's work, the Assembly members expressed deep confidence that the tasks of the Address will be implemented and will open a new page in the state building of New Kazakhstan.
