The Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) announces a competition for the selection of members of the Working Group on the formation of a new composition of the Public Council in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public Councils" dated November 2, 2015 № 383 and the Model Regulation on the Public Council dated February 26, 2021 № 69.

The Working Group on the formation of the Ministry's Public Council consists of 9 members, 3 of whom are representatives of the Ministry and 6 are elected among citizens and representatives of non-profit organizations.

Citizens, representatives of non-profit organizations wishing to take part in the competition within five calendar days from the date of posting the announcement of the competition for the selection of members of the working group, submit on purpose or send the following documents to the email address:

a citizen's application for candidacy to the working group in the form, according to Annex 1 of the above-mentioned Model Provision;

a written proposal of a non-profit organization to nominate a candidate (if any) to be a member of the working group;

information about the candidate's professional and (or) social activities;

a copy of the identity card of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, observers without the right to vote, who are representatives of non-governmental organizations, mass media, State bodies, and international organizations, are allowed to participate in the meetings of the working group.

To attend a meeting of the working group as an observer, a person who has expressed a desire to be an observer submits to a state body, a quasi-public sector entity at the republican level or a local representative body at the local level, or sends an application to participate as an observer in a competition for the selection of members of the working group on the formation of a Public Council, in the form according to annex 2 to the above-mentioned Model Provision.

A member of the working group on the formation of the Public Council is not allowed to participate in the competition for election to the members of the Public Council.
